What we collect ourselves

This is a static site with no accounts, no comments, and no newsletter yet. We do not set our own tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — which we use only in aggregate to understand what gets read and to keep the site working. If we add privacy-respecting analytics or an email list later, this page will change and the date above will move.

Third parties: Amazon

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Links marked "(paid link)" lead to Amazon. When you follow one, Amazon sets cookies in your browser to attribute any purchase to this site; Amazon and its partners may also use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to serve content and advertising, and to collect information about your interaction with Amazon. That data is collected under Amazon's own Privacy Notice, which governs it — we receive aggregate commission reports, not your identity or purchase history.

Your choices

You can browse this entire site without clicking any paid link. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the site works fully without them. Data requests and contact

We hold no user accounts and no databases of visitor identities, so there is usually nothing to export or delete on our side; requests concerning Amazon's data belong to Amazon under their notice. Anything else — including telling us this policy has a gap — goes through the contact page.
